The end of the year is upon us, granting the opportunity to reflect and assess the past 12 months.  2014 was an incredible year for the GAFFEY Healthcare team and we have much to be thankful for, beginning with our amazing clients. 

In Retrospect
Many years ago, we declared it our company mission to help healthcare providers optimize their financial and operational performance by providing best-in-class automation technology that increases efficiency & productivity while cutting costs in the Revenue Cycle.  By every measure, we held true to that goal throughout 2014.  As a company, we we continued with our unprecedented growth and expanded our presence as an industry leader in Revenue Cycle.  More importantly, our hospital clients continued to reap the significant cash-flow benefits and improvements across revenue cycle metrics that automation solutions like AlphaCollector, AutoStatus and Claims Management can provide.

To the Future

Revenue Cycle Automation Software Company, GAFFEY Healthcare, Announces Medicare AutoStatus

Plano, TX (April 29, 2014) – GAFFEY Healthcare, a leading provider of next generation, cloud-based revenue cycle technology & business office outsourcing services, announced today a new module that updates  its claim statusing solution, AutoStatus, to now interface with all Medicare Fiscal Intermediaries in addition to major commercial payors.

Interfacing directly with payors to status electronic claims automates the cumbersome and time-consuming process of retrieving and updating patient claim statuses manually.  AutoStatus is a cloud-based data management service that allows providers to automatically review which claims have been processed, adjudicated and prioritize those that require further investigation via an AutoStatus dashboard.  When used in conjunction with GAFFEY’s workflow automation & business intelligence platform, AlphaCollector, Medicare claims can be prioritized and routed to specific collectors to create workgroups, eliminating non-value added touches due to increased automation.  Problem accounts are identified and resolved faster while AlphaCollector provides data and reports to reduce denials and increase clean claim rates.

East Liverpool City Hospital Selects GAFFEY Healthcare for Full Business Office Outsourcing Services

Plano, TX (March 18, 2014) – GAFFEY Healthcare, a leading provider of cloud-based revenue cycle management software & business office outsourcing services, has announced that it has entered into a multi-year agreement to provide full outsourcing services to East Liverpool City Hospital, a short-term acute care facility located in East Liverpool, Ohio.
The outsourcing services will be provided out of GAFFEY Healthcare’s state-of-the-art centralized business office in Plano, Texas.  In addition to services, GAFFEY Healthcare will also provide a fully comprehensive business office software suite, including billing & claims management, contract management, automatic claim statusing and their collections & workflow automation tool, AlphaCollector.
